Reports have it that former military ruler, Muhammadu Buhari will formally announce his presidential ambition on October 8.
Buhari, who ruled from 1983 to 1985, will declare his interest in running for office at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
A source told Sahara Reporters that the former president has been making the necessary consultations and that the stage is set for his official declaration.
Buhari is expected to contest on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and this will be his fourth time of running for the office of president since democracy began again in 1999.
This comes after former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, announced his bid to contest the 2015 presidential elections. Atiku will also be vying for office on the platform of the APC.
