Nigerian Army says it will be setting all the Nigerian troops included in the mission to recover Baga from Boko Haram on extraordinary advancement. The advancement was reported by the Chief of Army Staff, Kenneth Minimah while tending to the officers in Baga today February 25th. In his discourse, the Army Chief commended the armed force officers and urged them to keep up the rhythm & save more towns.
"The whole nation is singing acclaims of Nigerian officers for the boldness showed in the battle against the guerillas. I urge you to keep the rhythm by striving hard to record more victories. Never again will Nigerians endure this sort of huge scale annihilation for the sake of uprising. The war is just about finished. We will free Dikwa, Bama, Gwoza, Marte and different places in a couple of days time" he said
