Senate President, David Mark, on
Monday described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as “Dynamic and Youth Oriented’’.
David Mark, while addressing the PDP
presidential rally in Jos, said that the party had encouraged youth leadership
as exemplified in the nomination of young people as its candidates for the
February polls.
Senate President, David Mark particularly
pointed at its governorship candidates in Plateau, Niger and Benue, and
explained that new leaders were emerging in the middle belt.
According to him, the zone has
always voted the PDP and would continue to do so.
He assured the president that the
votes of the north-central shall supersede every geo-political zone in the
country, and urged voters to ensure massive turn out on election days.
Minister of Water Resource Sarah
Ochekpe, in her speech, promised that women shall deliver bloc votes.
`We are are moving from community to
community, house to house, ward to ward, and preaching the message of
transformation.
“We are also mobilisiing youths and
all other groups to support Sen Gyang Pwajok, the Plateau governorship
candidate, and President Jonathan.
“ We shall not engage in violence
because violence begets violence and he who sows violence shall reap violence,.
