Chairman of Leadership Newspapers, and an Exco member of Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah
A presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, has pledged to rescue Nigerians from the “harsh policies” of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

A statement issued by the media office of Nda-Isaiah and made available to our correspondent in Asaba, on Tuesday, said the publisher-turned politician said if he gets the ticket of the APC he would institute people-oriented policies.

The statement quoted Nda-Isaiah as saying, “I understand the anger and concerns of a great number of Nigerians over unemployment, job insecurity, poor housing, poor health care and insecurity which are becoming a prolonged nightmare in Nigeria.

“As a professional and a presidential aspirant that could claim to know his onions, I understand the fears about our common future, the failures of our democracy to lift Nigerians out of poverty to prosperity.”

He said Nigeria must retrace its lost path and be guided to glory and greatness, promising to show Nigerians a different perspective of what the Presidency should look like.

“I want to offer Nigerian youths the better life than I had; I want to put the drive back to the Nigerian dream,” he said.
