“I have no doubt that he will sign a new contract.
“I know that it is critically important that the coach signs his contract to secure his
future and know exactly what is due to him. I am sure we will be able to sort out those
things before the next two games against Sudan,” Amadu assured.
On the issue of the controversial elective Congress of the NFF, Amadu said it is not true
that the Congress has been scheduled to take place in Warri stressing that what will take
place in the oil rich town this weekend on September 20 is the Congress that will approve
the date and venue for the election.
“As far as election and the two congresses are concerned, I have made the agenda clear that
the executive committee will propose to the congress a roadmap. I can confirm to you that
the first extraordinary general assembly will take place on September 20 in Warri Delta
State”.
He explained that the date that has been proposed for the elective Congress is still
tentative until approved by the general assembly.
